  Arrival in San Pedro

  Fly into Philip Goldson International Airport in Belize City then take a 15-minute domestic flight with Tropic Air or Maya Island Air, or enjoy the scenic 90-minute water taxi across the Caribbean Sea. Check in to SunBreeze Hotel and take an unhurried afternoon walk along the beach road. Dinner tonight at the Blue Water Grill, our oceanfront restaurant renowned for island cuisine with a refined twist. An early night sets you up beautifully for what follows.

  2Dive day

  Dive the Belize Barrier Reef

  SunBreeze Hotel has an on-site 5-star PADI Dive Centre, one of the most compelling reasons to choose us as your base. Day two is for the reef. Join a two-tank morning dive trip encountering eagle rays, nurse sharks, moray eels and extraordinary coral formations. Non-divers are equally well served on a guided snorkel tour to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley. Afternoon is yours to enjoy the pool, the sundeck or a first wander through the town’s art galleries.

  Day Trip to Caye Caulker

  Take the morning water taxi to Caye Caulker, Belize’s famously unhurried sister island just 30 minutes away. Spend the day walking the narrow sandy streets, swimming at The Split, trying the freshest ceviche from the waterfront stands and absorbing the easy island charm. Return to San Pedro in the late afternoon in time for a sunset cocktail at the Blue Water Grill. Tuesday evenings bring the island’s most celebrated Sushi Night, best reserved in advance.

  Maya Ruins and Jungle Adventure

  Day four takes you to the extraordinary Belizean mainland. An inland day tour visits ancient Maya sites such as Altun Ha or the magnificent Lamanai, whose temples rise dramatically from the jungle canopy. Cave tubing through the limestone caverns of the Caves Branch River is one of the most memorable experiences in Central America. All transfers are arranged from the hotel dock and included in our Adventure Package.

  Sunset Sailing and Spa

  A more leisurely day after the mainland adventure. Morning at your own pace, perhaps a slow breakfast and a browse through the galleries and chocolate shops in town. Afternoon brings a sailing tour along the coastline, watching the reef shimmer as the sky turns gold. Alternatively, spend the afternoon at our on-site spa with a deep tissue massage or aromatherapy treatment. A perfect mid-week indulgence.

  Secret Beach and San Pedro Town

  Rent a golf cart and head north for a morning at Secret Beach, Ambergris Caye’s most beautiful stretch of calm, clear lagoon water on the western side of the island. The 30-minute drive is part of the adventure. Swim, relax and enjoy a drink at one of the waterside bars before returning to San Pedro. Afternoon is for exploring the town at your own pace, the local markets, galleries and the lively waterfront where fishing boats bring in the evening’s catch.

  Sunrise Breakfast and Farewell

  Rise early for one final sunrise from your room. A leisurely breakfast at the Blue Water Grill as the morning light spreads across the Caribbean is a quietly perfect way to close the chapter.
